Boosters Guide: Comics for the Hunt

Ever found yourself backed into a corner thinking, ‘what would a top Renegade do?’ There’s always a trick or two more to the treasure-hunting trade, and where better to learn them than from the exploits of GRAIL’s most infamous? 

In this guide, we’ll take a look at Boosters and their passive benefits. Boosters are essentially comic books, filled with the thrilling escapades and adventures of history’s finest Renegades.

HOW TO GET BOOSTERS

You can purchase Boosters from GE-0 in exchange for Hawks. The more you raise your GRAIL Loyalty level, the more Booster types you’ll gain access to.

EQUIPPING BOOSTERS AND THEIR BENEFITS

Equip Boosters in your Loadout to gain their passive benefits throughout your hunts. Depending on your GRAIL Loyalty level, up to five Boosters can be active simultaneously. Remember, walking the path of legends is not without its risks. In the case of defeat, any equipped Boosters will be lost to the wilds of X-Isle!

BOOSTER CATEGORIES

There are three categories of Boosters: Survival, Utility, and Hunt, each collection based on a legendary Renegade. Here are a few examples, with even more to discover throughout your hunts on X-Isle, and new Boosters launching with every Issue.

They say he was never dropped off on X-Isle—he swam. Buffed to the brim and perfectly prepared for anything thrown his way, Grizz Winters is an unstoppable force of sheer survivability. A trick or two from his Survival Boosters will give a Renegade extra supplies, a boost on health restoration, and a cozy extra layer of damage reduction.

Maximum Effort: Spawn with a Health Boost.

Stockpiling: Start matches and resurrect with the maximum amount of ammo, Frag Grenades, and Heal-o-Cola.

• Hawks: 2500

Staying Low: Move faster and take less damage while knocked down.

• GRAIL Loyalty: 6 
• Hawks: 2500

Adapting: The duration of negative effects applied to you is reduced.

• GRAIL Loyalty: 8
• Hawks: 4000

Taking Cover: Take less damage from explosions, negative effects, and traps.

• GRAIL Loyalty: 9
• Hawks: 4000

The legendary Gear pioneer, always going ever further until the day he went too far. He’s tech-clad and just as elusive as he looks, but fortunately for the innovative Renegade, he’s been immortalized by GRAIL as Utility Boosters to show off his moves and how he gets the most out of his gear.

Traveler’s Way: Restore more stamina when using your Traverser for movement.

Foraging: Positive effects from eating food are improved.

Inner Power: The duration of Buffs applied to you is increased.

Exo Master: Cooldown time for equipped Exo Gear is reduced.

• GRAIL Loyalty: 10
• Hawks: 4000

Ward Master: Cooldown time for equipped Ward Gear is reduced.

• GRAIL Loyalty: 10
• Hawks: 4000

Farsight Scope: Aiming and draw speed for sniper rifles and pistols is increased.

Gunrunner’s Roar: Move faster while aiming assault rifles and LMGs.

• GRAIL Loyalty: 5
• Hawks: 2500

Nimble Trigger: Reload time for shotguns and submachine guns is reduced.

Traverser’s Toil: Traverser melee and ranged damage is increased.

• GRAIL Loyalty: 8

Gunslinger: Hip fire accuracy is increased.

Unburdened (The Dimensionaut): Carrying Trinkets and Artifacts no longer affects sprint duration.

Hunter’s Ire (Tabytha Rasa): Deal more damage to non-player enemies with more combined Shield and Health than you.

• GRAIL Loyalty: 6

Deep-Sea Sense (The Dimensionaut): When enemy players are nearby, your Traverser will automatically ping the closest one.

• GRAIL Loyalty: 10
• Hawks: 10000
